This list is not â € € œcompletaâ but pick up some of the pimps and yes I remember is © n available ... so I invite you to leave your comments with the names of other horses that year we add to the list ± ...
The links in some of the pimps are genealogÃas extended to Jo-Ann has Pasolineage ...

excuse me romualdo race is firmly closed by some owners think their race carried to the grave. I do not know much about horses but the only accessible are these mentioned. in two years all horses will be family and children for example: don don toqui coqui and other inaccessible going away we need people and eventually soften EASA touched you that I have tarea.no capital letters thank you for your attention
Caney ... interesting to me your point of view ... it is true that there Duea ± os difÃcil encastar making their horses, not so much that is not © n available, but unaffordable prices that put them ...
I can understand that some pimps, with high demand and have older, protected and yes ³ I used to mares "chosen" ... in this way prolongs life useful ... But right now the priority Provision must be to rebuild the breed ... and this requires the commitment of those who can do something ...
For example, the Sovereign Lord is a horse that is easily accessible for servicing costs and the availability of Black ... and this is a horse that has much to offer: it has finesse, rhythm, nobility, good sized and ± o ... something important, open the lines and "cool" the blood (to use a t © rmino 70's) ... Of course, like all horses, also © n has its flaws and not "combine" with all mares ... and that is the problem of "breeders" ...
The trend of "amateur breeders" is going to pimp fashion, without considering what are the strengths and weaknesses of our mare ... and if this horse "combines" with it, its qualities and lines ...
Fájate ... there is an article very interesting that went out ³ in a magazine Paso Fino, Puerto Rican Breed called "Â Are you a breeder or a multiplier of horses?" ... And this article explains some of the considerations When choosing the best stallion to our mare ... and this is not always the most s known, or which has more s children, or that more has won awards s ...
In this list there are a lot of race horses, fine horses and horses with very good qualities ... but horses are "unknown" for those who come new to the sport ... And like these, I'm sure there are a lot more s ...
For example, in PasoFinoForum Denisse is asking Zaphiro Successor ... this "old man" was the father of the Scaly (an extraordinary horse in the National competÃa) and North Americas © rica, so it's a pimp and tested ... as à © l, there are many others that are missing from my list ...

PS - Get your email, but I do not remember ... there was one Cremosita mare called La Cream, Â Cremosita do you know if she is the daughter of?
Hello Guitiaos Romualdo and Caney;
Tengo la siguiente informacion;
Cremosita Fed#3752
DOB 12-NOv-1982
(Equus x Millonaria)
Sr. Pastor Toledo.
Taino ti;
MR
Hola Michael…
We need to educate new Paso Fino enthusiasts about the qualities that would be necessary to supplement their mares. As you rightly say, Romualdo, some people simply use the stallion is out of fashion. Many do not know if that is what s more convenient for the horse or not.
Some people even though they have little time in the sport are very studious and above all have our own criteria for making decisions. On the other hand there are breeders who are very experienced and wise observers of detail that many of us pass. Sometimes these breeders identify horses with extraordinary qualities and begin to use as pimps them out without even the hint ... and produce well! Are those breeders who we get closer to dialogue and learn from them.
I was recently talking to a very experienced breeder told me about a pony as 35 months that he had seen and was in plans to bring the best mare that à © l recrÃa had. The mare of which he was talking about is today one of the best bellies of Puerto Rico! He asks ©  Is it so good is that colt? ... His response was that of a veteran breeder, has the qualities needed by the horse and provide important blood lines ...

Who I peda report:
I have a mare of very fine ride cn consider pure and grandfather would take her cigarillos, as this could be done, if hechandole the father of her daughters with horse cigarillo or como.Por quisira my yagua furnish something to the sport . She is very fine and spirited.
Dear Jonathan ...
In your comment you say that the mare is "walk", so I guess it is not registered ... also say that his grandfather is pure ... so I ask you about the other animals in their pedigree, are also only cigars or grandfather?
The question is why the Law of Agribusiness says only cigars can register as individuals whose parents-and therefore, their grandparents, great grandparents, etc-are Pure ... when a specimen is being registered, the copy is made to a test DNA and genetic affiliation with his father (who also should have DNA and enrolled) ... if you meet these requirements, then sign up as Pure ...
It is also important to note that although the institutions keep their records and register copies (assuming that they also do DNA testing and genetic affiliation), the Act is clear in specifying that only those individuals registered in the Central Genealogical Office Agribusiness are classified as Pure Puerto Rican Paso Fino ...
I hope the information will clarify your doubts ...
Greetings ...
Romualdo
Will likely regain the experimental data with the Morgan horse, Arab, Standardbred and Colombian brought to refresh our race and we need to evaluate the variations of the results or it's too late?
We must be concerned to know what is happening and what happened to those half-breed called soto voce that to enter some records as pure but the urban legend and wisdom of jibaro know there are some cats in a poke?
Proposed in this case must be made with these products?
They were exposed aware that these horses imported to refresh our race that the trait is a dominant amble and therefore do not know today which is just by looking at genetically pure vis a vis realisar DNA test?
It aprobechan some crabs sport when it is not solution to the dilemma of how many generations must pass before the descendants of those animals of a different race who came to "refresh" Pure Puerto Rican or considered sin will always be segregated?
What if and what were not the history that had access to records and that pre-established criteria?
It is creating an underground race with the recent entry into Puerto Rico of standarbred that both horses are improving journey that once were considered part of the Puerto Ricans?
We must make serious studies and well-intentioned they determine that such imports TUBIERON positive or negative impact on our horses?
Here as always I leave a copy of a letter from a gentleman who has propueto and seeks to solve a similar problem of clarity of race in his home country and bring it as an example of paths that others have done that but we do not necessarily need to know that culture is dynamic and changing horse and not retrograde and static!

ON THE DEGREE OF BLOOD IN THE FORMATION OF NEW RACE HORSES.
Mr. Guido Seravalli Bravo. MSc.
Judge and international consultant.
This fascinating but profound technical issue must be addressed seriously, knowledge and responsibility. There is now an interesting debate in certain fields of farmers and technicians on the importance or not to form new breeds of horses, livestock under the precept of "degrees of blood," especially with the dual algebraic preset 5/8 Race A and 3/8 race B, as mysteriously successful in cattle.
Worldwide, more than 300 races and ecotypes of horses, all with specific morphologies adapted to different purposes and environmental conditions on the planet. All of them despite their sometimes large differences followed similar paths. The process of formation of new races is composed of 2 phases: first phase and the second mating inbreeding or consanguinity, used consistently in both the functional morphology selection in accordance with the standards contained in race training Racial Pattern respective Stud Book.
In the twentieth century in the United States, was formed the first "synthetic animal breed," was the Santa Gertrudis breed, a breed of cattle for meat production tropical, which merged the production characteristics of European cattle (Bos taurus ) with the strength and hardiness of the Zebu breeds (Bos indicus). This work was performed at the King Ranch, using 2 parent races: the Short horn and the Brahman, 5/8 of the first with 3/8 of the second, or one bimestizo. Now they never had used these degrees of blood to form any race in the world, this genetic work was positive, being used until today to form a number of breeds "bimestizas or synthetic."
But the laws of genetics involved in this process, keep with the basics of quantitative genetics and population, which studied the inheritance, genes and interactions of those characteristics that are quantifiable, such as liters of milk / day, kg weight gain / day, height, body length, girth of cane, beaten or cycle speed, etc.. They involve multiple genes, not just a pair of alleles as in Mendelian characters. In addition to these characteristics generally had higher mean values and heritability.
In the case of saddle horse breeds, such is the case of Latin American and other horses, all features related to the mechanics of movement, are due to a complex and unquantifiable genetic interaction - environment. So it is quite risky to predestine the formation of the "race of the future", to certain degrees of random default blood. From this it follows the enormous importance of the processes and selection criteria at this stage that are foundational in mixed populations.
Selection pressure via breed standard for both anatomical and morphological attributes for functional, must be applied carefully for generations. It is imperative to start the valuations in the reproductively active population Stud. Also within a few years, you should close the book on foundation to move to the second phase, as stated, is the stage-setting characteristics, which can only be achieved through careful application of the
consanguinity and intensify the use of elite sires of these populations, but very carefully selected.
This stage will start when you have a number of females of reproductive age (actual population), large enough to ensure genetic variability necessary to achieve the desired genetic process generation. Another strategy would help in this long but rewarding process of consolidation is to establish lists of sires selected solely according to their progenies, this reproductive use potencializaría increase in the population gene frequency of their alleles.
The current discovery of the Human Genome and Equine, opens a whole Pandora's box, I hope and know use it properly for the preservation and breeding of the modern horse or Equus caballus.
After closing the Foundation, with about 4 generations (G 4), if we followed the steps correctly, then we would be facing a real race seat of the future, such IBEROAMERICANA HORSE RACE. Finally, we should not expect brilliant results in the short term, as these are often not sustainable over time or guarantor of the perpetuity of any population.
We can not achieve such a challenge without teamwork, putting aside personal interests for putting those nationals, this presupposes ride together on the back of one opinion for the common ...
Good luck.
I had not seen the second comment when I said ... about the "cat in a poke" is an unfortunate reality that to happen ... mind you, not so much the remaining animals at that time and have 1/16 or less of foreign blood ... but the Colombian children pimps are still trying to get into the records ...
On one occasion I asked Magdalis, when she was the Director of the Office of Agro Industry that same question you formulas: how many generations must pass to be considered "pure" ...? And his answer, when you think about it, is correct ... the descendants of those animals will never enter the record ...
The Registry of Breed Pure Puerto Rican Paso Fino is closed, it means that only children can register horses and mares that are in the registry ... and one of the conditions for entry was just to not have foreign blood ... therefore not matter how many generations pass crossing with "Pure" or the upward or the descendants are part of the Register and the Agro Industry Act does not provide to enter them ...
Of course, this is not unique to our race ... a thoroughbred horse Race, Thoroughbred, can only register if their parents are registered ... their books are closed as it happens in the Purism ... I can not get a horse 31/32 Thoroughbred and 1/32 Quarter Horse to register ... no matter how evidenced has the 5 generations of crosses with Thoroughbred ...
It is true that in our history there were crosses with Morgans, Tennessee Walkers and with Arab ... and more recently, Colombian ... but the book ended with the Law of Agribusiness and we must continue to preserve the breed with those who remained inside ...
Beyond that ... I understand there are a group of people who believed in the intersection of the two races ... for them, the "experiment" may provide some interesting data because they believe in building a new breed of Latin American Paso ... personally, I do not think that after all this time and how that information is saved, you can get some reliable data and value ... but it is up to them to provide the resources and time to do these studies ... I mean, if you're interested ... from the purism, it would be a waste of time ...
Upon introduction of Standarbred in the field of Gait ... well I think that represents a danger for what might be ... but the population "Creole" has practically disappeared by the Colombian discards mixed with ... well, do not think anyone you are interested in preserving it ... do not say no worthwhile, but not being organized, it would work "uphill" ... especially when the Government / Agriculture does not care about anything that may smell like "home" " indigenization "," typical ", etc ...
