Posted in other races by Romualdo | No Comments

This breed is relatively new and has been developed across pinto horses (both tobiano and Sabine), with Tennessee Walkers and other races ambladoras with the site to develop propa ³ pinto horses with comfortable air modes for the rider.

The Spotted Saddle Horse largely resembles the Tennessee Walker, given the great influence of this. But also other races that have contributed are © n Standardbred, bringing her size ± o, speed and air side; Mustang, with its bright colors and his strength, Missouri Fox Trotter, with its type and side air, and more recently s had some influence of the Peruvian Paso and Paso Fino. This has caused that there is some variety of different types, both in their phenotypes and in their footsteps.

In addition s color, to be registered as a Spotted Saddle Horse, the horse has to run one of the air chair, either Running Walk, Fox Trot, Rack, Stepping Pace or other similar step.

Rocky Mountain Horse and Kentucky Mountain Horse

Posted in other races by Romualdo | No Comments

The origin of these two races seems to come out of a popular legend: in late 1890, a group of colonists who settled in habÃan ± as Rocky Mountains (Rocky Mountains) traveled back to Virginia. These settlers traÃan with a colt who appeared to be blood â € œespaà olaa ± € (a, Berber?) Who sold on their way from Kentucky. This horse is crossed with mares ³ local, considerably improving its features, and one of his sons, Old Tobe, is where both races descend: Rocky Mountain and Kentucky Mountain.

Sam Tuttle, owner of Old Tobe ± o, horseback riding organized by the Natural Bridge National Park and needed horses dà ³ ciles and sure footing to take inexperienced people on the roads and hilly difÃciles. These qualities were what transmitÃa Old Tobe, set them on your offspring. This horse was active in both recrÃa mount as serving customers Tuttle, and died in 1964 at age 37 year ± os.

Tuttle referÃa their horses as â € € Horsesâ œRocky Mountain, recalling the origin of the horse that fathered habÃa Old Tobe. The Rocky Mountain Horse Association was founded in 1986 n order to preserve the breed and currently have about 3,000 registered copies.

The Kentucky Mountain Saddle Horse Association is he founded in 1989 in Kentucky by Robert Robinson Jr., a renowned breeder of saddle horses, with the plan on preserving, improving and promoting these horses. Although the basis of this record were horses Rocky Mountains, the registry accepts the crossing with other breeds that meet your requirements step. Among these is the Tennessee Walkers n and the Paso Fino horse being Colombian Coral Lace one of the stallions recognized for their registration.

On its features we can say that besides s a good temperament, which is dà ³ easy and easy handling, these horses must have a amble natural and harmonious way â € HTSP can feel four shots of the hooves perfectly differentiated in a cadenced rhythm as follows: left foot â € "left hand, right foot - hand derechaâ €. Among its required air that may have an extended amble either singlefoot or rack (a type of career or long-pass type).
