Tennessee Walker or Tennessee Walking Horse ...

Posted in other races by Romualdo

The origin of the Tennessee Walker horses is in horses crossing the Narragansett ambladores and Canadians. These horses were crossed in the cotton plantations of Tennessee n to produce a saddle horse Appropriate Land ± Bear mountain region n. The result of these crosses came to be known as Southern Plantation Tennessee Walking Horse or Pacer.

Breeders continued to refine the type and year ± appending resistance trava © s from crosses with Saddlebreds, Standardbreds and Morgans. In 1885, a colt was born called Black Allan, of cross-Allendorf, a descendant of the line stallion louping (Standardbred) of Hambletonian with a Morgan mare named Maggie Marshall. Allan Black was bred to be a great trotter, however his natural air is ³ be a kind of amble broken. At the age of 23 ± year I bought it as a breeder of Tennessee that crosses ³ with 111 mares before he died at 24 ± I year. From these crosses trademark page grew out of the air race, the Running Walk.

On April 27, 1935 Reunion is a group of breeders and owner ± os to shape n an association to organize the race, and 115 copies were chosen to be the Foundation of the same n. Of these, the first was Black Allan who is assigned to ³ the registration number of Allan F-1.

Horses Tennessee Walkers perform three gaits: the Flat Walk, Running Walk and Canter Gallop or Meeting. The Flat Walk and Running Walk are four-stroke rhythm side, the second most s quick and widespread than the first. Among the peculiarities of these steps is no train movement back, which seems to want ahead of the previous n suspended the action and high hand, and rÃtmico movement of his head, which sways to the rhythm of footsteps.

© s after publishing this article I visited the messageboard of gaits of Gold , where I is ± alaron that the horse was showing them NOT the prototype of Tennessee Walker horse. By contrast, the gait of the horses that appear in the first three videos are not natural but has been manipulated, often inhumanely Ndole cause pain to the horse. This reminded me à © walking in to "escorfinaba" some horses before taking them to compete to make them look more s fine and delicate.

Next you will introduce three new videos where you can see the natural gaits of this breed. Do not remove the videos © earlier so they can see the difference between the natural step of the Tennessee Walker and how to manipulate and alter some of them for the dance competition.

Also invite © na read the story of the Jackson family and her horse Champagne Watchout , the end of the article you can see the video of the competition.

The propa ³ sito of this series was just to illustrate the similarity between many of these races ... this is due, in part, in its majority (the à º nica exception n are the Island ndicos) descended from a common stock common: the horses of Berber origin that the colonists brought the "New World" ...
